AirGradient’s Young Leaders

At AirGradient, we recognize that young people are at the forefront of the environmental movement. Their passion, fresh perspectives, and dedication are vital to addressing the critical challenges of air pollution and climate change. Inspired by our work with UNICEF, which focuses on supporting initiatives that empower youth, we are strengthening our commitment to nurturing and empowering young leaders within our team and beyond.

We are proud to highlight two exceptional young members of the AirGradient team, Nathalie and Yehor, who embody our commitment to clean air and are making significant contributions to our mission. They also serve as representatives of many young people globally whom we aim to reach and support through our work.

• Nathalie: Recently joining AirGradient, Nathalie brings a strong commitment to community engagement. We are excited to support her as she grows into her role as a community advocate, connecting with individuals and groups to raise awareness about air quality and inspire action.
• Yehor: As a member of our development team, Yehor is instrumental in building and enhancing the front-end of AirGradient’s platform. His technical skills ensure that our air quality data is presented in a user-friendly and accessible way.

While we are a small, dedicated team, AirGradient is deeply committed to fostering the growth and leadership potential of our young team members. This commitment involves:

• Amplifying Voices: Providing platforms for Nathalie, Yehor, and other young team members to share their ideas, perspectives, and passion for clean air. Making them represent the broader youth movement, and ensuring that we -the older generation- always listen.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Offering informal mentorship and guidance from experienced AirGradient team members to support the professional development of our young leaders.
• Project Involvement: Providing opportunities for Nathalie and Yehor to contribute to and, when appropriate, take ownership of projects that align with their interests and skills, allowing them to apply their talents and make a tangible impact.
• Promoting Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative environment where Nathalie, Yehor, and all team members can learn from each other, share ideas, and work together towards our common goal of clean air.
